The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes the creation of motivated, energized, and capable faculty. The capacity-building of teachers at all levels has been one of the major thrust areas in the field of higher education. In order to meet the objective of NEP 2020, the UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, is organizing an online two-week ‘NEP Orientation and Sensitization Programme’ that aims to build competencies in the faculty for better teaching, learning, and research by exposing them to Indian values, updating knowledge and skills, and aligning teaching, learning, and research with the needs of society and NEP 2020.
